Meet my friend Sam.
When my daughter Evelyn first learned to talk, one of her favorite things to say was, “SUCH A NICE BOY!” and that is all I could think of when I was writing this. Sam is such a nice boy – and insanely smart – and absurdly talented. Honestly, it is kind of unfair. But, even with all the talent, still SO nice. This is Sam with his mother, Loretta. In addition to being nice AND friendly, Loretta is one of the most encouraging people I have ever met. LOVE HER! Ok, back to Sam.
Sam is playing Detective Sargent Trotter in Trinity Christian School’s production of Mousetrap which opens tonight! I have watched him perform for years and can guarantee that you do not want to miss it! The show is tonight, tomorrow and Saturday and begins at 7 pm!

Meet Stephen, King of Shenanigans.
Stephen agreed to look at my camera and smile a few times, which was nice… There is an extensive amount of nonsense in between the smiles, it was a great day.
side note: guys, wear suits for your senior photos.

Some people in this world are phenomenally, fantastic and generally joy-filled individuals.

Who could ask for more than this from a bride? This is my friend Cassi. We went to college together, We worked in the admissions office together, and sometimes I still laugh out loud when I remember something absurdly funny that Cassi said, or that we did. Hands down, she is the most originally funny person I have ever known.
Cassi married Rob, who may just be the nicest man in the world. And like, funny and silly and nice, not just nice.
These two are winners and their wedding was a blast.
